What format are my pictures and video?
All pictures and videos sold on MeetmiBaby are in a digital format and are provided as a download when you make a purchase. Pictures are JPEG and videos are MP4. These formats are a standard and should display across all of your devices. We do not send printed copies of your purchase to you.
How do I make a purchase?
At the end of your scan the sonographer should have handed you a Patient Information Sheet with your surname and a personal code unique to you printed on it. Along with your date of birth these details are entered into the form on the home page. If you have had your scan and you do not have a Patient Information Sheet, you need to contact the department who did your scan to ask for the sheet. Nothing shows up after entering my details into the form on the home page?
When entering your details into the form on the home page please ensure your surname and date of birth are correct and that your personal code matches exactly as it’s shown on the Patient Information Sheet handed to you at the end of your scan. Having one character incorrect will provided an empty search result. If you are sure that your details are correct and you still have an empty search result, send us a message via our form on the Contact Us page which can be found here.
What are the quality of my images?
The images displayed in your gallery are only examples and are of a reduced quality and size, they are also marked with the MeetmiBaby logo. We have no control over the images taken by the sonographer during your scan and it can be difficult to get a clear picture of your baby depending on a number of factors including the baby’s position. The images are of sufficient quality to choose which ones you would like to purchase in your gallery. Once you purchase your images the downloadable version is of a higher size and resolution and the MeetmiBaby logo will be removed. The purchased version of your image is suitable for displaying on all of your digital devices including your TV and for printing.
What are the benefits of a digital image compared to traditional thermal prints?
We believe that a digital image offers much more value than a thermal paper image which is easily destroyed by heat (left in the sun or displayed near a radiator), tends to fade over time and is easily ripped or torn. Any of the digital images in your baby gallery once downloaded can be copied and shared with friends and family online or via email or printed onto photo quality paper as many times as you like, allowing you to more easily share your precious memories with family and friends or to display in your home for all to see. This service allows the sonographer to focus their entire attention on the screening appointment, which is the purpose for the hospital visit, putting the baby’s welfare first, in line with clinical guidance in this area.

Is it safe to enter my bank details on MeetmiBaby?
Your on-line transaction on MeetmiBaby is secure with the highest levels of transaction security currently available on the Internet. All credit card and debit card payments on MeetmiBaby are processed through secure and trusted payment gateways managed by leading banks. Banks now use the 3D Secure password service for online transactions, providing an additional layer of security through identity verification.
Are my bank details stored on the MeetmiBaby website?
MeetmiBaby does not store your bank details in our database so there is no risk of having your details stolen.
Can I purchase gift vouchers?
Currently we do not offer gift vouchers.
Where does the money go?
Helping to fund vital hospital services is incredibly important to us. For every MeetmiBaby digital baby scan sold, the majority of the money is returned directly to the hospital that performed your baby scan.
Orders and Downloads
How do I know that my order has been confirmed?
Once your order has been placed and payment authorisation has been received, MeetmiBaby will confirm receipt of the order with an on screen message and by sending an Order Confirmation email to the email address that you used during your account registration. You can also visit your Account page and select the Orders tab to view your order history. You can visit your Orders page here.
How do I download my baby scan picture or video?
When you make a purchase there are two ways of downloading your images. Initially when you make a purchase you will receive an Order Confirmation email which provides a download link to your account download screen, shortly after you will receive an email with the picture attached to it for each individual picture that you have purchased. So if you bought two pictures then you will receive two emails with each picture attached. You can visit the Downloads page in your account here. Please Note: images are only available to download from your account for 90 days which is why we email them to you also.
How do I obtain a copy of the invoice/receipt?
When a purchase has been made you can obtain a copy of your invoice by visiting the account section and selecting the Orders tab. Once there, view the individual order and scroll to the bottom of the page and select Download Invoice. Your invoice will be in a pdf format so a pdf reader will be required. How do I return a baby picture or video purchased from MeetmiBaby?
We love to get it right for you every time you trust us with your purchase. We want you to have an absolutely headache-free shopping experience. We are sure that once you have downloaded your baby pictures or video that you will be delighted with your purchase. A baby picture or video cannot be returned or exchanged once it has been purchased due to the fact that it’s a digital product made bespoke for you.
